I like that it will use wall power or a battery pack. This has made my camera so much more versatile. Something like this should have been included in the box with the camera. I am very happy with this, money well spent.

I teach online courses result of the pandemic on collegiate academics to undergrad and grad students. Had my camera purring and greatly increased my productivity. Does what its supposed to do!

I wish Canon would power cameras over USB ports, but that isn't the case, enter this adapter. The "fake" batter fits fine, and I haven' t had any power issues!

I purchased this in order use my Panasonic Lumix GX85 mirrorless camera as a webcam, without burning through my batteries. It performs that function perfectly. On the GX85, you have to leave the battery door open due to how it's physically designed, but it doesn't interfere with the tripod mount I use. I spend hours every day on video conferencing for meetings, and I've never had an issue with it. This is exactly the product I was hoping for.

This kit has added a lot of versatility to my M50, I really enjoy having a USB plug as it allows me to hook it into a power bank when AC power is not readily available.

But not plugged into the computer USB port. I tried it and got a clicking noise from the camera. Other than that, shipping is fairly slow as it comes directly from China. I love not having to swap batteries during a shoot now!

Ordered to allow an EOS M camera to run off of an external battery system, instead of the Canon E-12 battery.2 V. For my needs, this is a much better camera power solution than the AC/DC power block offered from other vendors.

Works great with it when using it as a webcam or when shooting video with the internal microphone, but causes too much interference to be used with a powered external microphone.
