It worked great on regular and shrink to fit connectors. Since the 80 is I have had to use a vice grip to make dependable connections in certain situations. The tool works great and though it was pricier than others. I am 100, satisfied. It releases well and is easy to use. a lot easier than a vice grip and it makes a LOT better connection than other tools I have used. This one is a keeper. If I did not like the initial connection because I was not lined up like I wanted to be. I could just reapply it and BAM! a nice solid clean connection without damage to the insulation. Worked great for me. I have rewired entire dashes and trucks and everything in between. This tool is great for me and my tired old hands.

These lock out and are easy to close. Great grip handle. Perfect for people who do a lot of work with cords. My husband said they are great for his collection in the garage.

Hands down a fine tool. The wire EDM cut crimping jaws are precise and crimp flawlessly every time. Ratchet action is excellent as well. Make it super easy to stage pin and position wire fit crimping

Tried many cheap ones. and this is the only one which worked well. Still great value for the price. Spend some time to get used to if you are new to crimping. Also. use good materials for your final crimp. and this one takes you to professional results.

The feature that like the most is that you are able to adjust how tight the crimp is around the wire. It also locks as you crimp so it makes it easy to hold the connection with out it falling out or turning the wrong way. A must have if you plan on doing any automotive wiring.
