    This crucible size is just right for the self-made foundry. We have been able to use charcoal for aluminum melt dozens of times without excessive wear of the crucible. It looks like it will last a long time.

    I don't know what "warm" or "pure" mean, but obviously the website wants me to use these words in this review. "Thickness" seems appropriate, but I don't know what the optimal thickness is. I am new to melting metals, but last weekend I successfully melted some aluminum with this crucible. It has been burned twice in a homemade charcoal foundry and it seems to be doing well!
