    I played it in school about 25 years ago. I decided to buy this one instead of renting it and so far it sounds good and I'm happy with the purchase.

    This is a great instrument for beginners and I recommend buying the reeds and mouthpiece separately, the reeds and mouthpiece that come with the saxophone may not be as bad.

    I bought this saxophone for my son when he started 6th grade. He is now in his second school year with this sax and I have nothing to complain about. His music teacher has nothing bad to say about it and it will be a great choice.

    Out of the box, it sounds great. It really is an amazing sax. My neighbor literally stands outside listening to me play and I'm the first person to tell you that my tone and technique are mediocre. But this horn sounds great and has great action.

    I am sure any beginner or even intermediate player will enjoy playing this instrument. Very pleased. I am a lifelong saxophone player and have not played alto for over twenty years. It was cheaper than fixing mine. I love it!
