This toy turned out to be a disappointment even before my son could play with it. One of the tracks is stuck, preventing it from moving forward or backward. While it can swivel and the bucket moves up and down, the fact that it doesn't function as expected is disheartening, especially considering the price. Unfortunately, I discarded the packaging earlier in the day before I realized the remote required batteries that weren't included. So, now my son has a brand new excavator that's essentially unusable.

This excavator is easy for young ones to operate. The smaller remote fits perfectly in little hands and is one of the simpler ones to use. My two-year-old grandson has no trouble using it and plays with it frequently. I recommend investing in a longer-lasting battery pack for extended playtime between charges. It comes with two packs, so one can charge while the other is in use. Even I enjoy playing with it with my grandson. It's fun for both kids and adults.

Upon arrival, the toy needs to be charged, but the battery life is impressively long. This excavator has brought a great deal of enjoyment to my construction equipment-enthusiastic three-year-old. We're planning to add more equipment from the same company to his fleet soon. Purchasing the warranty gave us peace of mind, which is always a plus.

An excavator is expected to be capable of playing in dirt and lifting sand, but this toy didn't meet those expectations. It feels flimsy, lacks power, and can only really lift "pretend dirt," which is basically air, not actual sand.

Fantastic concept, but the durability falls short. My parents bought this for my son's 4th birthday. After just 3 weeks, the remote can't locate the excavator anymore, rendering the toy useless. Needless to say, it was a very disappointed birthday boy.

Extremely cheap and thin. It's far too easy to break. We returned it before allowing my kids to use it because you can tell just by looking at it that it's likely to break quickly.

The shovel on this thing is incredibly weak; it can't move or pick up anything. The toy can't even handle dirt or sand; if it goes near any, the whole thing stops, and the remote quits working. My 3- and 4-year-old grandkids quickly lost interest in it.

What a letdown! This was my son's favorite gift. Yet, just 10 minutes into play, one side stopped working. It can no longer move forward; it only spins in a circle since it broke! It was cool while it lasted for those 10 minutes. I purchased it early for Christmas, so I can't return it for a refund now, and it certainly wasn't cheap. Needless to say, I'm not thrilled.

Please avoid purchasing this. It's inconvenient to use and a real hassle to remove the battery for recharging. You even need a small enclosed screwdriver every time you want to recharge or change the batteries. It's far from fun. They could have designed it to be user-friendly, but alas, they didn't ask for my common-sense input. The plastic feels cheap, and I suspect it won't last more than a few minutes with kids. It's a real letdown.

I ordered this for my twin grandsons' birthday, and I just gave it to them yesterday due to the Coronavirus. They liked it so much that I ordered a second one last night. However, after charging overnight and putting new batteries in the remote, it doesn't work at all. Can I return it?

This feels like a fantastic deal. It comes with two rechargeable batteries, so while one is charging, my son can keep playing. He's a rough-and-tumble 2-year-old, and this excavator has held up admirably. He even toted it around with him for a weekend, subjecting it to numerous bumps and bruises, yet it's still going strong without any issues. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made recently.

My daughter has been fascinated with excavators ever since she heard the excavator song. Her first one broke, so I bought her this as a birthday gift, and she adores it. It seems even better than the previous one because it can actually scoop a bit, unlike the other one that couldn't reach down far enough. Additionally, my daughter finds the controls much easier to use on her own. It charged quite rapidly, and we all took her to the park to enjoy it.

I genuinely liked this product, but it didn't come with a charging cord! I made several attempts to contact the seller with no success. That's why I'm giving it such a low rating; the toy is essentially worthless without a charger.

My grandson's love for excavators, thanks to Blippi, led me to purchase this remote control excavator for him. It's impressively well-crafted and operates smoothly. The arm can lower and scoop in both forward and backward directions, while the excavator can move forward and backward. It's a tad noisy, but the joy it brings more than compensates for it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

My boys are having a blast with this thing. I didn't expect it to move as quickly as it does. It was packaged well, and I appreciated that it came with rechargeable batteries. Charging didn't take long, and they were soon playing with it. It has the ability to scoop, dump, swivel, move forward, and move backward. It's definitely worth the money for hours of fun. While part of me expected it to be a bit larger, I'm not disappointed with its size.

I gifted this to a 3-year-old who adores everything, especially excavators. He played with sheer delight for a full hour, exploring every corner of the house. He even scooped up a bit of mulch outside, and it worked like a charm. I'm excited to see how it performs in the sandbox when the weather warms up a bit.

Let me kick things off by saying that the fact this RC comes with rechargeable battery packs is a game-changer and a wallet-saver. The movements are smooth, the truck isn't overly loud, and my toddler can easily handle it on his own! It keeps him happily occupied for hours on end!

My son adores this toy. However, the battery removal from the excavator can be a bit tricky, and initially, it didn't work. Both battery packs failed to turn on the excavator, and the remote control just blinked red. Fortunately, I was able to contact the company, and they sent me a replacement toy. The new one works like a charm, and he still plays with it regularly! I'd certainly recommend it.

We received this, and it stopped working on the second day. We requested an exchange, thinking maybe it was just a defect in that one. The replacement arrived and also ceased to work after just one use.
