My son has enjoyed this to every extent! We also have name brand rock crawlers but this is his favorite. The speed control is a little tough but the 4x4 pulls great and the batter life is good. For a budget/tough RC I would recommend.

We're pretty picky about our rock crawlers in CO, but this little thing was a great way to keep the kids happy and off the $500 RC crawlers. Only 2 complaints: Need to glue the tires onto the beads because they just spin or fall off. That and the battery lasted like 10 min. Just switched to LiPO and it runs for a solid hour.

It looks great, tough, can climb like hell and is super affordable, just buy the upgrades for it.

Spent a long time researching and this thing is just great. Tires are soft but will need some sort of wheel glue because they do come off easily. Motor and servo are strong with great control. It is very top heavy so you may need to add some wheel weights or become creative.
