    Followed instructions and tips from here, made sure rubber cap was off when charging and in place when closing the hatch. tilted down to get rid of bubbles in water. Ran it for at least 15 mins and still had juice left, though trying to drain all the way before recharge (not sure if i need to).

    If you follow the instructions, this little thing will work very well. The size of the prop is very small, but its performance is very good. You need to put the rear into the water and shake it gently to discharge the air in the steering pump. When charging, the red light on the USB is red. When the power is sufficient, the indicator light goes out. Use only low-power USB charging, such as computer port

    Great little toy, more than I expected. I tested the device in a clear lake, about 8 feet deep, and it still did everything - it had forward and backward, left and right (through side thrusters), diving and diving, just like its own small ballast tank. Long running time - 20 minutes or more.

    This is a birthday present for my grandson this year. I can't say how good the battery life is, but he called me yesterday and told me he used it in the swimming pool. The effect is very good! He sounds happy!
