  I was on a quest to find a budget-friendly solution to enhance the picture quality of my 4K projector in our living room. At the moment, I'm projecting onto a beige wall, and the experience is quite remarkable - achieving a total size of 120 inches. It's like having a theater experience during these Covid times. I was aware that painting the wall or investing in a roll-down screen were likely the most effective options, though they come with a hefty price tag. Unfortunately, this solution, despite being excessively stretchy and having a somewhat economical appearance for a living space, failed to enhance the picture's brightness. The screen lacked the desired level of whiteness and, more crucially, reflectivity. Considering a beige wall delivers an equally bright result, I concluded that the effort wasn't justified. Thus, I decided to return the product.

  I utilized 3/4 EMT conduit to craft an affordable frame. I cut the top and bottom to 106 inches and the sides to 54 inches.

  The screen has exceeded my expectations. I'm using bungee cords to hang the screen, which allows for easy setup and takedown. It's performing exceptionally well and pairs perfectly with our cooau projector. Extremely satisfied.

  While I believe it combines screen and projector elements, the contrast leaves something to be desired. I achieved a significantly better picture using a light grey sheet.

  If you're lacking a blank wall for projecting, this option could be suitable. In my case, the colors appeared muted and the image was less sharp compared to projecting onto a plain wall.
