These lights remotes are awesome!!! They are easily programmed and easier to use. I live with a 78 year old person who forgets to turn off lights. When I get in the bed. I realize that she left a light on especially in the front hallway. Now. I just use the remote and turn it off and never leave the comfort of my bed. Also. she has a main light in her room that she can't get to when she is already in bed. When I go down the hallway next to her room. she says. "Can you turn off the light. please?" If I have already passed by. I have to come back. go into her room to reach the light. Now. I have programmed a remote next to her bed so she can turn it off herself. If she falls asleep with the lights on I don't have to disturb her by going into her room. I have a button on my remote to turn off her lights. We also have our remotes on our keys so we won't walk into a dark house at night. We just turn them on from our car port. I love these things. If I am in my bed and cozy. I can turn off any light that I left on in my room or house with just the touch of a button. I highly recommend these remotes .

I got this today. installed in seconds and works great! I'm using this for a lamp in my toddlers room that the twist on/off dial is broken. We've been plugging/unplugging to use the lamp and while pregnant I finally thought there has to be a better option. The range is fantastic on the remote. Easy set up. Going to mount the remote to the wall by the light. It works while not facing directly at the plug that is somewhat hidden behind the rocking chair and side table.

I have purchased two of these. They work great and are super easy to use. I have one for string lights that are plugged into an outlet in the ceiling. and I use one for a lamp that has a hard to reach switch. On that one. the outlet is behind my couch. and I e not had a problem.

I attached the switch to the cord leading to a ceiling lamp that had no switch. Then I popped in the battery to the remote and pressed the ON button. and it worked. It turned my light on. I expected there would be some sort of programming needed. But no. I didn't even read the instructions and it worked the first time. How often does that happen? This is a great product.
