I was initially just going to buy a sun umbrella. but this cost less and takes up less space while being stored/transported. It does literally pop right open in a second - that wasn't hyperbolic. If you toss it in the air like in the silly picture it will pop open. but I wouldn't recommend that. Folding it back up took me a few tries but as soon as I understood the trick to it I realized i was making it overly complicated. It will naturally want to fold on itself the right way. just let it and don't get frustrated. Large enough for two people to lounge easily and long enough that my head and feet both fit with room.

This tent arrived in a huge box. so I was nervous that it would be hard to transport. We got it for shade on our boat and the beach. I took it out of the bag and it popped open - my husband was shocked it was that easy!! Literally seconds for a full size tent! It took a few tries. but folding was easy and will be super light weight to tuck onto the boat when we go fishing. Since then. my daughter has taken it for her room. At first she had it on the floor. now it's on her bed as a canopy while she lays there to play games on her tablet. So. we have used this tent almost non stop since purchasing it. It's a great value and I have found so many uses for it already!
