Why do You Need it?
If you suffer from dry eyes, eye fatigue, reducing melatonin, ultraviolet radiation, freckles, wrinkle or myopia, you need a blue light blocking film to protect you.

The Necessity of it
We have to use computer for a long time while cornea and crystalline lens of our eyes are unable to resist or reflect blue light. What’s more, blue light may cause maculopathy which to some extent speeds up the process of losing sight.

I don't know if this is a personal problem for myself, or if it's something that happens to everybody who uses it, but I started to notice lightheadedness and strange feelings when using the screens on my computer. At first I started having these feelings that I thought maybe I ate something weird, or I thought maybe it might be an effective my chemotherapy, but I've been on my chemo for 7 years and never had this feeling before. Then my spouse suggested it might be the new screen, when I remove the screen the negative effects completely went away. So, well I cannot prove 100% that this was caused by the screens, I can't use these screens again. Which is really a pity because I don't want that radiation coming off the screen and the blue light which is really hurting my eyes. I really wish these worked.

Overall, I like the screen protector. It works and does what is described. I just didn't like that when I took out the screen protector, it was pretty challenging to apply on the screen. When peeling the second layer off, it pulls the protector off as well and that could be a potential way dirt can get back in. Also, I had to throw away the first screen protector cause there was a scratch on it that I couldn't remove. Must be packaging issues. The last one I used has a small scratch on it but is not visible when my screen turns on. See my photo for reference. Also, there was a little bit of dirt on the corner of the screen protector. It's not a big deal but is pretty annoying for me as I'm sure others would be annoyed by it as well. Overall, I'm giving this item a 4/5 cause of the issues I faced. The item is good, just not much of the other things.

First off, the product applies easily and cleanly. It has very good static adhesion to the screen, and it does a decent job at blocking glare. However, the "blue light filter" results in a very strong cloudy blue appearance to the screen as a whole. You might not notice it if you're used to screens polluted by smoke, but as compared to every other matte screen I've ever used, it's very poor because of one thing only: When there's any sunlight on the screen at all, the filter reduces contrast so severely that you'd swear the whole thing is glowing cloudy blue. It's absolutely obnoxious. In other words, use this filter if and only if you're running entirely indoors and without any light shining on the screen at all.

These definitely reduced glare and I was still able to use touch screen on Asus. However it did not come with the dust sticker or application card that looks like should have been in the package. I have applied plenty protectors on phones and tablets so it may be due to the size of the screen but I had a really hard time getting this on clean and bubble free. I eventually gave up and left a few bubbles on to just see if I liked it. I will probably try reapplying the 2nd sheet when I have more patience...

I love how this screen easily fit over my monitor. The anti-glare helps save my eyes so they are not too tired after a day of looking at the computer! The price is very reasonable and the product is high quality!

I have had this screen protector on my work computer for almost 2 weeks now. It does a really nice job cutting down on the glare and brightness. My eyes don't hurt as they used to. Great product.

Expensive but does the job also you don't have to worry about bubbles and reuse it with different monitors again and again. No installation required just take out from the box and put it on monitor.

I really enjoy this product, I am just too lazy to use glasses and this make it easy to work on the PC, I do video editing and need to said that it affects the colors of the screen making my monitor inaccurate on the colors. I edit with it just when o get to the part of editing colors I have to take it out and since it is just kinda hanging it is easy to take it out edit and put it back on ASAP as I am done. Loved this product!! And 100% recommend.

I had cataract surgery last year and have really been struggling with eye strain working on my computer all day. This has really helped with the blue light coming off the screen. I have a window behind me at my work space, so there is a glare that is more visible with the shield over my screen, but it is worth it based on the reduction of strain that I feel my very sensitive eyes have been dealing with!
