    I have several 18-volt B&D yard tools and the batteries that came with them, but only one of those batteries is now capable of being charged to its stated voltage. I have tried one of my 18-volt tools with this adapter and a current B&D 20-volt Li-Ion battery and it works fine.

    The adapter and 20 volt batteries work very well in electric drills, edgers and hedge trimmers where the battery hangs out the bottom of the device.  It worked fine for me.

    Great product great solution. Love that I do not have to throw away perfectly good cordless tools and can upgrade them to 20 V. Fits perfectly on the drill saws all and flashlight. If you are buying lithium batteries to upgrade with this remember you have to have a separate charger for the LiIon batteries because you cannot charge them with the standard Black and Decker 18 V charger.

    I was able to “save” an old drill by buying these new batteries and charger. Otherwise I would have replaced it with a new one when in fact all it needed was new batteries!

    I wasn' t sure that this would work on my 21 volt, 4.0 Ah battery for my leaf blower, but it did great. I had to charge it for 2 days because it' s a lower Ah rating, but that' s not a problem.
