    I fried my new laptop when I spilled a cup of coffee on it so my computer tech saved my drive and I now have it installed into this case and I now use this drive as an external to my new desktop computer. I am delighted with this case, I suffered no loss of speed with this case.

    I had extra hard drives sooooo I hooked one up to my Playstation and my PC. I now have extra storage for my playstation and an external drive for my PC. Btw this works great and I don't have any large load times for any usage off of it. IT DEPENDS ON THE HARD DRIVE YOU GET!!! NOT THIS PRODUCT!!! If you have a crappy hard drive, then load times will take longer. If you have a faster or better hard drive then it works great. Make sure you look at your hard drive and determine if its worth hooking it up to this. It is just nice to have a hard drive lying around and turning it into a portable hard drive though!

    I bought two of these cases. And they are super easy to install your drive. BUT they are plastic, and while they are compact and light, I suspect they would crack if dropped. There are two pieces of adhesive foam to cushion the drive. and I do not believe they would do well in use for long periods since there is little to no heat dissipation option.I use it mostly to format and retrieve hard drives then transfer the drive into whatever computer they will reside in permanently. The cover easily slides on and off, with just enough friction to prevent it from accidentally sliding off.these are very nice and worthwhile purchase.

    I love this hard drive enclosure. I didn't really need a clear one but it's like the look of it. The USB C is nice for doing large file transfers quickly and I now feel like I couldn't go back to regular USB. Will definitely be purchasing again for my next portable drive

    You just can't beat this product, especially at this great price.No instructions are necessary, was intuitive to slide the hard drive into the enclosure, attach my new lap top and watch as it was instantly recognized as an external drive. It couldn't get any easier.It is very sturdy for a plastic enclosure but might not handle very rough handling. For 99.9% of all purposes this would work just fine.
