    I brought it along to New Hampshire's Mt. Garfield two days ago. I decided to test it in one of the rivers on the way up. The water passed through the filter smoothly, without requiring much effort to suck. That's certainly a positive aspect. Furthermore, the water tasted fantastic, and I had no issues or illnesses afterward. It definitely performed its job effectively.

    On my days off, I backpack 35-50 miles, and I've always used the 'S.S.' water filter, which is similar to this product. They are similar in size, but this one is easier to filter water through and costs half the price. I simply reuse 32-ounce plastic seltzer bottles to attach to the filter. I'll definitely be purchasing this for my hiking friends as well.

    I thoroughly enjoyed using this product without experiencing any unpleasant aftertaste. Unlike similar devices I've used before, I didn't detect any plastic taste with this one. However, it would be great to have a clip or attachment for easy carabiner placement!

    I purchased this at almost half the price of the well-known "Mini" filter. Having used various filtration systems before, I wanted a compact solution for my international travels.     If you're a serious hiker and prioritize water filtration, I hesitate to recommend this product to you. During my last weekend hike, I used my Mini Water Filter NatureNova for the first time and discovered that water trickles out of the lid when it's supposed to be tightly closed. I'm disappointed with this purchase.

    To use this filter, you can use a straw to absorb water or a syringe. I suggest using closed bags or reusable bottles with filters. When you try to absorb water through a straw, disposable water bottles often collapse.

    It seems that this filter is rated for a significantly larger water capacity compared to the popular life-straw, despite utilizing the same technology. I believe it can filter up to 10,000 gallons, whereas the Nature Nova straw is rated for up to 100,000 gallons! The choice is yours.
