    This might be more expensive than some but if you hate walking/trekking sticks because they get in the way, this is really the one for you. It took me a couple of minutes to get the knack but now I just collapse it down and put it in my shopping bag. Sorted!

    This is a well-made hiking pole. I have it in the car at all times just in case. It is a sturdy hiking pole and I recommend it to anyone who needs a bit of stability while just walking (not necessarily hiking).

    Love this hiking stick. I bring it with me on 90% of my hikes. I typically just keep it erect and not folded up. I just carry it when I dont need it on a specific area of the trails. Has held up to mud, rain, rocks and my weight. Would recommend and purchase again.

    So Im in line for a total knee replacement, but due to covid, that's been put off till who knows when. till then, I limp. I have hiking sticks, but wanted one that collapsed into a compact size to keep in the car. this is perfect - it actually will fit in the storage compartment in my door. Im a big guy and this seems sturdy enough to fit my needs. might buy a couple more of them

    We've had a couple of different trekking poles over the last couple years and so far these are my favorite. Granted. we've never spent more than about $30 for any so I'm sure these won't compare to a pair of $150 trekking poles. Initially it was a little tricky figuring out how to assemble the poles. but once figured out. they are actually much easier than the traditional telescoping poles. Once assembled. they can be easily adjusted with a really nice locking mechanism. The handles seem of high quality and are very comfortable. Glad I got these and looking forward to hitting the trail with them!

    I bought this compact. lightweight trekking pole and took it on a wilderness kayaking trip -- rock beaches. slimy landings. steep slopes. carrying gear among barnacled boulders and salt water -- and it performed perfectly. Granted. it was not two months on the PCT. but it had a solid field test. The beauty is that this is pretty sturdy for an average-size person and it folds up to practically nothing. It has a handy storage bag and velcro strap to hold the segments firm in the bag. I think I will keep it in the car for spontaneous hikes. If you are very large. tall or short. be aware that the height adjustments are limited. Otherwise. highly recommended.

    I took this collapsible pole with me to Peru and it "walked" all over Machu Picchu and to the Sungate twice. I received it only two days before I left so didn't have time to try it out before I left on my trip. When I got to Machu Picchu. I took it out of my daypack (it folds up small enough to fit nicely into a small daypack) and had it out and together in about 20 seconds. Walking sticks are sold everywhere at Machu Picchu. but the ones sold there do not fold up as small as the OUTRY Collapsible Trekking Pole and are the same price. The small collapsibility of this walking pole is another reason why I like this product - Not only does it fit perfectly . . is so light weight that you hardly know it's in your pack AND it takes up almost no room in a suitcase.

    I have have struggled with vestibular issues and can not believe I haven't invested in something like this sooner! It's the perfect size for me and I love that I can fold it up and bring it anywhere just in case. It's easy to set up and take down and fits this 5ft woman perfectly!

    I'm very glad I bought this walking stick before leaving for Peru and Macchu Picchu. It came with 2 rubber tips, which was a requirement for a walking stick to be used in Macchu Picchu. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to assemble it the first time but it was a breeze after that. The stick was plenty sturdy for walking.

    Excellent poles. better than my more expensive ones that I accidentally left at home when I went on a walking holiday (thanks goodness for prime!) I broke my ankle last year & hurt my knee & need the support for hill walking & narrow difficult paths. Lightweight but strong & folds away small for when not needed. I'm certainly not light & it served me very well & think it will for many years.

    I was a bit skeptical because it was such a great price. It was great and very stable. We were hiking in Sedona for a week. I had my third back surgery and am still experiencing some foot drop. This is exactly what i needed. It folded up so small. yet it was a great help with my stability. I was able to hike 3/4 of the way up Bell Rock. first time ever. 5+++stars.
