  I've been using mine for a couple of years now. The only thing I'd like would be to be able to order just 2.5# weights and not the whole set. I would like to add more weight.

  You absolutely get your money's worth with this weight set. The weights are compact and coated with a nice finish. The dumbbell handles are sturdy and well-constructed. The grip diameter is a touch narrow for my hands, but the knurling ensures that I have a secure hold of them while lifting. The locking spin collars have an inlaid rubber washer that locks the collar into the weights when you tighten it and shows no sign of loosening as you use the dumbbells. This is a very good value for the weights you get. I am very satisfied and they will be a great addition to my garage gym!

  These weights work excellently! They do just what you expect them to. They are easy to change and hold up well. I have been using them for almost a year. However, something to consider is that if you need to change the weight between sets or exercises, it can become a bit of a hassle. I purchased these because I got multiple weights for a good price, but I wish I had a bunch of solid dumbbells in different weights because of how easy they are to change when you need to. They work and I am happy with them, but they do make my workouts take longer and require frequent changes.

  I didn't know what to expect from an adjustable dumbbell at this price, but I am pleasantly surprised. I got a set of two and they were both packaged very well with no damage. The handles are solid and feel like they will hold up well for all exercises. The weights are of very good quality, better than I expected. I did clean all the pieces with Clorox wipes before using and I haven't experienced any of the metal splinters others have mentioned in the reviews (though I can see how that could happen, as the handles have an aggressive grip). Overall, I am very happy with these and would buy them again. I can see these lasting a long time.

  The weights are fine but the supplied screw collars are subpar. They begin to loosen immediately and the weights start sliding about. You have to stop and tighten them repeatedly to prevent the plates from falling off and potentially smashing your toes. Unless you have or plan to buy proper locking collars, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

  I love them except for the fact that the bars hurt your hands. They feel like rough sandpaper. You will definitely need gloves or something to protect your hands.

  This is a great alternative for someone wanting to lift weights at home but doesn't have space for a full set. The dumbbells are easy and straightforward to assemble. However, the locking screw on the side doesn't work that well. It seems like you need perfect alignment to get it tight. The finish is also flaky, with both the chrome and black paint chipping off. The rubber on the knobs you screw back on also wears out pretty fast. I'm deducting points for these issues, but overall, they are still great dumbbells. As an alternative to using the locking screw, once you have the knobs on, you can set it on the ground and twist the left side towards you and the right side away from you, and it will tighten up pretty well.

  These weights are easy to adjust and there's no rattling. The bar and end nuts are of high quality and it's easy to change the weights. This is a good starter set and very economical. I'm not a weight lifter, I just want to strengthen my aging body.

  I love this set. The only thing I don't like is that it's too short as a dumbbell for most bench racks. However, it's easily convertible and works as intended. It's a great starter set.

  These dumbbells are perfect for my needs and seem sturdy. I saw some reviews stating that they come loose easily, but that hasn't been my experience. I just hand tighten them well before starting a set and check between sets to be safe, but they don't really loosen much. They might loosen a turn or so after several sets, but nothing major. In my opinion, they are very safe.

  This is a great product that I purchased as I was getting back into fitness and weight loss. The nice thing about this design is how compactly you can store the different parts. If you're ready to increase the intensity of your strength training, you can simply go out and purchase a few more weight plates, which have multiple uses beyond just dumbbells and barbells.

  My son has been wanting a set of these for a long time, but most are made of sand and plastic, which deteriorates over time. These weights, however, are of high quality and come at an excellent price. They made an awesome gift!

  I started lifting in an attempt to build some muscle. I've built up my strength enough that I needed more plates. I came across this set and was skeptical as it was cheaper than just buying plates. But don't fret, this set is great. It's sturdy and easy to grip. Don't hesitate any longer, get this dumbbell set!

  For the price, these dumbbells are adequate. I always use them with gloves because the metal is rough on my palms. The nuts on each side do constantly loosen, so you need to keep an eye on them and retighten after each set. Despite these issues, these dumbbells are an affordable option that gets the job done.

  The product gets the job done, but the grips had sharp metal shavings on them. I ended up with small metal slivers on my hands from grabbing the bar; I recommend wiping down the bar with a microfiber cloth before use.

  These weights work for me as a basic hand weight set up, but honestly, they don't hold well and you have to keep checking to make sure they're screwed in tight. Also, the grip isn't comfortable, I need to wear gloves when using them. They weren't too expensive so for a basic set up they're okay, but they're not the best quality.
