If you are looking for something to get your kid interested in science and the stars , you can choose this telescope. It was super easy to set up and my son really liked it. Works great and looks so cute in his room.

My kids are so excited to see the stars and moon, and we are trying to find some planets as well. My daughter is 4 and has started to love all things space and dinosaurs so we are encouraging her curiosity and learning in the process. While my littles are jazzed my husband may actually be even more excited. Great price, easy to use, and super easy to assemble.

Terrible instructions (assembly and use), but actually works pretty not bad. Got it for my 4 year old, and I had to set it up, but he could look through it and see the moon really well. It took a little while to get it to focus as I was just guessing which lenses to use (see terrible instructions comment). Overall pretty pleased and will try to tackle other planets and stars later. I’ll likely have to graduate to a better rig, but this works for now

My twin eight year olds each wanted a separate telescope for Christmas. My daughter opted for a more expensive one while my son request the Smurfect Nasa Lunar Telescope. The Smurfect telescope was easy to assemble. Both my children used their telescopes to look at the moon. There was no difference in their ability to use their telescope or the quality of the images they could see. The main difference was the difference in cost. produced the same quality and ease of use!

My grandson and his father have really bonded over the use of the telescope. They like to go out in the early summer night and just look at the various stars and the moon --just identifying brightness and size of stars and letting my grandson's imagination go for it. My son-in-law said it was easy to assemble and my grandson enjoyed helping his dad put it together(lol) . This was a great gift. The use encourages a beginners knowledge of the solar system, at a basic level, and their imagination about what could be in the sky.

We purchased two telescopes for our twin 6 year old grandsons. They absolutely love it! They keep it set up on a table in their bedrooms and look at the sky every night before going to bed. It is a great gift and very simple to assemble! I would recommend this item!!

My nephew loves his telescope. He has been so excited to use it. It has commented several times about how he loves looking at the stars and other things with it. I would definitely say it’s a great starter telescope to let your child see if this is something that would interest them. I am actually thinking about giving this as a gift for his friends birthday parties. Always remember to look up and look for the beauty in the sky.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my five year old niece. This telescope is very good for beginners or for anyone looking for a small but decently powered telescope. You can see craters on the moon with this and get a decent view of the stars. I like that it isn't huge, making it easy to take camping. And the stand allows you to set it up on a picnic table or other table/chair easily.

This is a very handy telescope for any beginner interested in looking toward the sky. It's a great gift for anyone, whether it's a child or an adult. It's really simple to set up, it's a great tool to have for dabbling into the astrological field, and it comes with lots of accessories and gifts. I easily give it 5 stars!

I bought this telescope for my 9 year old grandson and he loves it. He used it to view the conjuuction with Saturn and jupiter. He found it easy to use, effective and it's a great gift for any kid aspiring to be an astronaut or who has an interest in the solar system.

Our daughter was so excited to receive this product. Straight out of the box we were using it. This telescope has great magnification. I was actually impressed with the clarity I was able to see. We have made it a point to be available and outside as much as possible. We've not only looked at the moon, at stars as well!

I liked the fact that it is easy to assemble, but it takes a couple of tries to get the viewing right. Once you figure out it is great. My kids love to watch planetary objects using it

I got this for my son who is excited about stars & planets. Thank God I'm not a complete idiot because there were no instructions on assembling. I still put it together & it works great. So I'd say; it's great for beginners.

We had bought the telescope for our 10 yr old grandson for Christmas. He absolutely loves it!! It was very easy for him to assemble. Only thing, I wish the tri-pod was where he could stand up to look thru it. But other than that, I'd buy again! In fact, another grandson, 8yrs old, wants one now!!
