It comes in a beautiful box. I like that it can be used when the car cannot start. So you connect it, turn the car in the ignition switch (only turn on the battery one turn), and the light on the device will turn on. The symbol on the device is easy to understand, it will display words (such as "unread code" or "read code"), so it is very easy to understand. It didn't help me in the end because even the mechanic couldn't find the unstartable code on my car, but it convinced me that my mechanic did not lie to me and actually did inspect my car. It is very worth your money, and even tells you real-time updates of the car, such as the current RMP or whether your oxygen intake is normal, etc.

In any case, when I tried it for the first time, mine-like a few others-said "Cannot find the code", even though my friend's several hundred dollar units had already read the code to me. It turns out that, as stated in the title, the problem was on one end of me, not on one end of the device. You must plug the device into your port **Ignition off**. After the device starts, turn the ignition key to "ON"-you don't need the engine to run. **Now** you can read the code. Works perfectly. These codes are used both as numeric codes and as textual descriptions. I can also erase the code without difficulty.

I will soon want to buy a used car for my granddaughter. It needs to pass a smoke test to register. This scanner will let me know if there are any codes for malfunctioning sensors etc. It will also let me know if the seller has cleared the code so that the engine light will go out after checking... This is a common technique for selling problematic cars. I tried it on my car and it works as described.

It is easy to use and provides you with an accurate code description. For example, I connected it to a resource manager with a damaged transmission valve solenoid valve and code reading-P0743 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical-P0750 Shift Solenoid Valve A. It also allows you to clear the code. This is a must if you are repairing your car, and it is great for anyone who wants to decrypt those cute inspection engine lights. To be honest, it will be cheap due to the price, but its structure is solid and it has not collapsed due to my abuse.

This is a great tool at an amazing price. Everyone should put it in their glove box. When my inspection engine light turned on, I decided to buy this gadget instead of paying the dealer $175 to help me inspect it. It is easy to use, and error codes can be read clearly. I took it to the local mechanic to fix it, and he got the exact same error code as mine, so it definitely worked. Definitely something everyone should have, just in case. In the long run, it will save you money!
