This metal detector is great for any age. I bought it for myself just to have fun with and have not even used it yet. The grandkids came over and their dad took them out treasure hunting with my metal detector. I was so glad someone else tried it before me since I did not know how to use it yet. Watching them use it showed me how easy it was. plus they found some interesting things underground. I am hoping to take it myself to the beach this summer and comb the area there now that I see how easy it is!

After 30 years of marriage. my wife lost her wedding band in our backyard while doing yard work. After several fruitless search attempts we were ready to give up looking. I purchased this metal detector as a last ditch effort. a couple of clicks later and it was ready to go. We found the ring after just 10 minutes of sweeping the backyard with the detector.

My husband lost a knife outside that got buried in the dirt. It had a lot of sentimental value so he was desperate to find it. After days of looking outside and digging where he thought it would be. he could not find it. He decided to order this and I thought he was insane. After 2 days. this thing picked it up and he found it!!! I would say it is great for beginners because he has never used one before. It will come in handy if he loses his tools or something. I am sure that is coming next.

My husband and I thought this would be a great gift for our son for Christmas. He is in love with the outdoors and anything he can do out there so. this was right up his alley. He was outside first thing looking for ,treasure., It seems to work well and he is found some bolts and scraps so far. This will definitely be a good gadget to take to the beach next summer.

Absolutely love this device. I bought it as a gift for my father to use while he was in a beach house in Florida for the winter. While visiting we used it quite a bit and actually found a lot of metal. Overall nothing of value. but it was a first time ever user. so finding anything was fun. plus there is definitely a learning curve.
