Designed to rivet chain links to form an endless chain and is versatile enough to be used on cam chain to drive chains.

Features:
Breaks and rejoins most types of chain quickly and easily.
Suitable for most sizes of drive or cam chain from 35 to 630.
Supplied with a range of pins, dies.
Universal application for use on motorcycle drive chains.
Includes all the tools required for cutting and disassembly of press fitted connecting links.

    I got this to remove and install my new motorcycle chain . Worked great , pretty simple to use and I recommend it. I've heard complaints about these breaking if you get a more affordable one but if you do your research it works great. Angle grinders before hand save you a little bit of extra work to.

    I've used a couple of cheaper chain breakers that are meant for bicycle chains but are supposed to accommodate 415 chain as well (motorized bicycle) and all of them tend to barely hold the chain and strip the threads when trying to press out the pin. Not with this tool, this is extremely robust and well built. The interchangeable pins are very strong and breaking a 415 chain took just a few moments along with very little effort.

    It is what it is... does the job very well for the price you pay but there are better (more sturdy) tools available. If you have a motorcycle shop, you should buy the expensive ones. I swap my chain once every three or four years so it's perfect for me. Easy to use and comes with all the supplements for braking the old one and riveting your new chain.

    It is what it is... does the job very well for the price you pay but there are better ,more sturdy, tools available. If you have a motorcycle shop. you should buy the expensive ones.
