Having lived in a small master bathroom for years, I decided to do some big demos in preparation for some major remodeling. I need to remove a shower pan, lots of old tiles, and lay concrete trenches for new plumbing. At first I tried a sledgehammer, but it got old quickly. After some research I found this rotary hammer drill and I am very happy. This exercise replaces muscle strength and easily removes old tiles (very strong ones, 50 years ago). Next up is the shower tray, which is easily removed with this tool. The hardest part of my job is picking up all the concrete debris and tossing it in the dumpster outside! As recommended in the video and other reviewers, I let the rotary hammer drill do the work for me. I chipped the shower tray into pieces with ease, working methodically a few inches at a time. I was amazed how easy the process was. The sledgehammer is now collecting dust from the concrete removal process produced by the drill. My only caveat is to make sure to use lubricant regularly, not oil as suggested by the owner's manual. Other than that, I highly recommend this versatile rotary hammer drill, which is a very economical rental alternative!

Drilling holes in concrete is very short. Drilling a 1/2"3" deep hole in the floor of a 40 year old house took about 5 seconds and I applied almost no force (this was in a corner with almost no space and no way to be like a normal person Put my weight on the tool that way). Access in seconds through the tap hole of the 2x4 base plate.

I needed to drill into the concrete in shop to anchor some shop equipment. I will not use the drill everyday, so I chose to buy a less expensive model. This drill came with everything I needed and worked flawlessly. I have only used it once, to drill 7 holes in the concrete, but have no doubt that it will last for years to come. Great value and definitely recommend.

I have incredibly thick concrete walls that every other drill I've used couldn't get beyond one centimeter deep. This thing annihilated it in literally one minute... I really wish I would have had this drill in the first place instead of waisting my time with the dinky rechargeable drill I was using in the first place!

I waited to review this product after I had used it for 5 or so months. I have used to bust up old concrete( 4" thick) to prepare for a new slab around our pool. I have also used it to bust up a little over 300sq ft of ugly ceramic tile so I could replace with waterproof laminate in our kitchen. This great tool and saved me countless hours doing it with hand tools. Also for the local rental price it's a no brainer to just go ahead and purchase.

I used to use a normal rotary hammer drill (6Amp artisan). My hammer drill takes 1-2 minutes to drill through a 4" board and make a 3/8" hole. This model takes 15-20 seconds to fully drill a 4" anchor plate into the concrete of the wall framing. Battery powered hammer drills seem to be of good quality. It depends on what you're dealing with in concrete (metal rebar, larger aggregates, etc.). It does require a little battery power, so if you plan to drill a lot of holes, keep a spare battery with you. Overall, I recommend this hammer for home improvement/DIYers. If I were making this for a living, I'd probably go for a Bosch or other bigger voltage/battery power supply (or a wired model) - but for a weekend warrior, it's a beast!

I've used this thing many times at work. Not even to count. Had to improvise. If my drills can't do that, sometimes bring the guy out and I'll use them to smash some masonry bits and make holes in the steel, but. It worked. (Be sure to wear hearing protection if doing something unwise). I used a chisel to demonstrate what I bought so my life would be easier when replacing the steel frame at work. Wanted Cordless found this and has been happy ever since. It doesn't need to be the best, but it's reliable enough and sturdy enough for normal use. I've been doing this for a few years now and it's still going.

I bought this to replace a cordless impact driver drill in Milwaukee. Ultimately, this impact driver is very powerful. I used the t for the first time today and it drilled 1/2" through 8" thick concrete like hot butter. My old cordless driver could never get the job done, especially as quickly and accurately as this model does. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a powerful and cost-effective shock driver because they are all included and don't even have to buy any accessories; it's standard anyway. You can't go wrong with this one. I imagine I will be using this Milwaukee cordless phone more than ever before. Great product. A simple word to an Auburn for making these great products available at such a great price. For a great product It's very valuable. I only wish I could give it six stars.

It's heavier than I expected, but it might help in actual use. It easily peels the tile off the bathroom walls and does a short job on the floor. I'm of course glad I got it because I've started making it by hand and it's going to take forever. It's probably the only time I use it, but it's worth it. It comes in a nice carrying case with some accessories and a small amount of grease. Keeping grease in there is as important as lubricating the drill. I remove the pieces occasionally just to make sure they don't get stuck.

As the title says, it also becomes simple and fast. Much better than using a normal hammer drill, minimal vibration feedback, and it never got hot enough to worry me. This tool alone probably shaved at least two weeks off a renovation project I was involved in. I would say that you are better off using an sds drill to work with reinforced concrete, even if you are not drilling into any reinforced concrete. Also don't bother with the Milwaukee sds plus bits if you can avoid it. I actually melted one of these and noticed that they dulled faster and drilled rougher holes than using Bosch drill bits for reinforced concrete.

Project Construction Cement Staircase Outdoor Retaining Wall. At first, it was difficult to excavate and insert the wooden supports due to the rock and clay. Bought this instead of renting one as it would cost at least $60 to rent one for 4 hours. The problem is that this is a weekend project and takes about 5 days to complete. Therefore, renting is not cost-effective. Not only does the price make it work well and use it every day, but look forward to future home improvement projects and using it again and again.

I have owned a rope hammer drill for many years. It takes a few minutes to drill an inch or inch and a half hole in the brick. Then one day I needed to drill a rock. It took 30 minutes to grind the bit off. So drilling 4 holes, it took almost 2 hours. Once I get it. It's easy to assemble. You just screwed on the handle, plugged in the SDS drill, installed the battery, and I was all set. The first hole I made in the brick took less than 5 seconds. I laughed and laughed. Where has this tool been my whole life? It's like going rock with a hammer and chisel before. I hit 4 holes in less than 30 seconds. No more sweating, no more pushing drills. I feel like I'm drilling for butter. It's so smooth and fast. I didn't lift the drill and battery for several minutes when I had pain in my shoulders and back. I even dug another hole in the same rock as before and it went in a few seconds later. Wow!

If you are a contractor or you use a hammer drill a lot, I recommend this tool. Its size is very powerful. 2.7 Jules, which I believe is the power of a battery powered hammer drill. For price, power and weight, I think this tool is probably self-contained. I would say that the two are fairly similar. I'm also looking at a shorter version with a port for the sweeper, but it's more expensive and noticeably less powerful. I don't have the need for this option as I mostly work outdoors and this one works just fine for me.

The more expensive Dewalt DCH273B or this one? this. Unless you plan to do a lot of drilling overhead and want to take advantage of the hepafilter, buy this drill! It is noticeably lighter and more powerful. I'm a commercial electrician and this exercise definitely saves me time arguing over wires and/or fighting with 8 people on the job site for a cordless rotary hammer. I echoed another reviewer's point when I said my biggest problem was keeping my colleagues from borrowing it. I was initially torn between this one and the more expensive compacts, but I'm glad I got this one. It's lighter, and it's noticeably more powerful. So why buy a compact? In some cases, the compactness does come in handy (eg drilling holes for wedge anchors to anchor heavy switchgear already in place - the compact can be used inside the switchgear more easily). Also, if you're drilling holes in concrete all day, HEPA filters are an absolute lifesaver. Depending on work needs, I may buy a compact at some point, but this will be my everyday carry

I've been wanting to put up racks in the garage and install some sockets, but my rig can't handle it. My hammer drill and hammer drill took days to drill a few holes in some racks in the garage, and this baby and some drills took seconds. I wish I bought it years ago! I like that it shares the same battery with my other tools. This baby goes through poured concrete like a heat gun through a plastic bottle. Since it's brushless, battery life is great, and so will the tool. Don't think I have to buy another hammer and neither will you.

Bought this to help me rip out old tiles in my kitchen as the sledgehammer/chisel method is very inefficient and renting a demo hammer is almost as expensive, so at least I can keep this tool for future projects. Already had two DeWalt 20V brushless tools, so bought this one because everything can use the same battery. The effect is very good. The tiles are in chunks and this method is much easier on my back. The drilling machine also successfully drilled through the tulle. I got about 100 square feet of tiles and sheets in 4 hours, working very slowly. My only minor quibble is that the adjustable handle can loosen during use as you turn the release handle counter-clockwise, which is the natural orientation of the hand when the tool is in use. Also, make sure you have a larger battery pack, as I only have two small ones for an impact driver and this training will drain a smaller battery very quickly. Overall, this tool works exactly what I hoped for and highly recommend.

I was disappointed at first, the one I received didn't work and the rotation was broken. It's affordable and the other reviews are so good, I gave it a second chance. I'm glad I did. I need it to break 4" concrete floors in my basement that have a sump pump and some underground pipes. In the picture above, I just used this rig. For longer, I first used a concrete blade in my circular saw Carve the concrete on. The first hole is the hardest as the drill will get stuck so you have to cut in layers. Once you have the first hole, it's easy to start cutting and get the edges off. Also, I used a mortar mixer The rotation function works very well.

I bought this for a few projects around the house, but I'm sure I can use it for more! First, it's a very cost-effective option. All other rotary hammer drills cost significantly more, even without the heavy duty housing and accessories. I first used it to drill four 3/4" holes in the plaster to hold the TV antenna firmly to the roof. That's almost too easy for this powerful tool. My next project is to drill some 1/2" holes in a solid grouted concrete block. It is also easy to drill with this hammer. In the end (so far) I drilled six 5/8" holes, a little more than 2" deep into my concrete pool deck to install a safety grab bar. It took longer, but the rig will definitely do the job This work. My only complaint might be that the rig is heavy, but that's probably necessary so that it can be so strong and sturdy. I would definitely recommend this rotary hammer rig to anyone who needs a tool like this for the home Various items in!
