This shredder is one of the best products I bought this year! I have been using it for more than a month, and it is very suitable for shredding all the spam and confidential files I receive. Don't be fooled by its small size! It packs a hole punch and can easily shred mail (including envelopes), files and various forms of cards-debit/credit cards and other cards! There is still a lot of garbage in it! I emptied the trash can for the first time today, and I have been tearing it apart like a madman! It is not easy to get stuck at all, and the noise level is reasonable for its size. I am very satisfied with this purchase and I highly recommend it!

The speed and noise level of this shredder are similar to my previous ones, but it is better constructed. My previous paper shredder finally exited because the blade in the center through which the envelope passed was bent. I might have fed it some envelopes over 6 pages. The cutting wheel on this model is much stronger than my previous ones. I think the motor will stop running long before these cutting wheels are damaged. I also like the large window that shows how much paper is in the trash can.

It works like a charm. I have shredded credit cards, staples, multiple pages...and it worked well. It's not too noisy...but it's a bit noisy. This one is quieter than the other one I have. Like that, it has a handle that can lift the top to the air. In general...I am satisfied.

I have had several shredders over the years, but this one is THE BEST! I have used it at home almost daily for the last ten months with no problems. Although it does shred up to 12 sheets at a time, I usually try to stay in the 8 - 10 page range, which it shreds easily. The micro-cut is terrific - it obliterates any document. Some reviewers have complained about the basket being messy to empty, but the solution is very simple. I put a white kitchen garbage bag over the back part of the basket, then tilt the basket so the shreds slide into the bag. It is rare that any shreds land on the floor using this method. In short, I would not hesitate to recommend this shredder to anyone.

This shredder is very quiet, shreds everything quickly from 1 to 10 sheets of paper at a time (more might jam it), credit cards & CDs. Lights that show paper jam, power on, overheat, overload, door open & bin full. It has an attractive appearance to have in your home. A very good shredder at a very good price. I have had mine for about 2 months with no problems and I use it everyday to shred all the junk mail & documents with our personal information on it. It has helped me tremendously to keep the home free of all those stacks of paper that you don't want to throw in the trash for all the world to see.

I almost passed on buying this terrific shredder...so glad I bought it! I have put it through a vigorous work out and it’s still running great. It has run for as much as two hours straight and did not over heat. It does shred credit cards just as finely as paper. One review I read said it did not work that way, I actually read on the top where it instructs you to place the credit cards and it chews them into small chunks that if it were not for the color you can’t distinguish from the paper. I have run 8-12 sheets at a time with no problems. I have only had one time that I needed to reverse documents due to overload. It reset and worked great. With heavy loads you can hear a slight change in the motor working but it’s still much quieter than my old shredder. The most important thing to know is to oil the blades with heavy use. It is recommended, but I initially ignored those instructions. What I now realize is it really keeps the paper dust down and extends the life of the shredder

Quiet, efficient, and shreds paper into tiny curved pieces, almost impossible to put back together. I tend to use my shredded paperwork as barbeque starter, mulch, and mixing with compost. These tiny pieces are more useful for all three. And it's so quiet! My old shredder, which I've had for 15 years, was a lot louder, and the shredded paper was small, but nothing compared to this. I'm glad I decided to retire it when it started acting up. About the only way you could get a better shredder is to get one of the government ones that turn paper into powder.

I received the product a day earlier than expected, and immediately took it out of the box and started shredding. Since I took a lot of time and had to open the mail and destroy the old files, I was able to shred it for longer than 4 minutes because it had no time to get hot. In addition, instead of making 6 photos, I did more randomly. In order to reduce mail backup, I put it under a chair table, and I put the mail at the front door. Now, I open the mail, shred the things I don't need, and walk away. I just hope it has color

This item came right out of box. I attached the rollers and setup shredder, ready to shred in less than five minutes. This replaced a very inexpensive shredder that lasted a long time, but it would only take two sheets and ran for two minutes. This will save me money in the long run because I won't have to take a pile to be shredded to the local shop. This shreds 8 pages easily and it's quiet and runs for 60 minutes, way more than I need, but more power is better. The microcut leaves very small pieces so I won't be emptying it very often. My only complaint is that I thought this had a removable bin because it has a handle on the front, but you have to lift the motor unit off, which is heavy. I am very pleased with this item.

But because I have to shred a lot of paper for my job (and I work out of my home), I needed something more heavy-duty (I don't know how I put up with the old shredder for over a year with this job!). This shredder does the job! It handles everything I put through it just fine and never gets overheated. I love the pull-out bin, which is so much more convenient than my old shredder, where I had to take the entire heavy shredder off the top of the bin to empty it. It's pretty quiet. Its switch is conveniently located on the top of the panel and it has nice LED lights to signal when the bin is full, when there is a jam, etc. I think most people would be quite happy with this shredder; if you're not, then you probably need to have a professional shredding service take care of your shredding needs.

I had two large boxes of papers to shred and dreaded the task but with the help of this shredder, I got the job completed within three hours. After my husband passed away, I found two boxes of papers and old documents...some from the 1980's....that needed to be shredded. Even though this was a higher-priced shredder, I bought it because it was able to shred several papers at a time; plus I was able to shred a lot of papers continuously without the shredder overheating and stopping. It was definitely worth the price for me. I like that I can shred multiple papers at a time.
