I have experience using single butane stoves, but none of them were as fragile, compact, or appeared as hazardous to operate as this one. It's effortless to accidentally knock it off a table or counter, and its size is so small that anything placed on it to cook could easily tumble off. It's imperative that this stove is kept away from children. While the stove does come with a basic case and is lightweight, it's too large to be a backpacking stove and too heavy when using butane. Although it ignites easily, I would only use it in extreme situations. Fortunately, there are more robust butane stoves available that can securely accommodate larger pots for cooking meals for two people. Although they're pricier, they're definitely worth the investment.

So far, so good. I've used this Cass stove a few times because of the power outage. A can of fuel lasts a long time (for me). I like that it has a protective case that safely holds a half used fuel canister for storage/travel. It takes up little space and is easy to store. The Cass stove is easy to ignite. The flame is nice and hot enough to cook anything you would normally cook on the stovetop.
