    This is fantastic; technically, it's a glockenspiel, but whatever it is, my 2-and-a-half-year-old son loves it. He prefers it over the basic baby xylophone we had. The case is convenient for storing the mallets, and it seems to be well-made with a pleasant sound. I'm not sure about the exact tuning, but it suits our purposes just fine.

    My 4-year-old enjoys it, but we gave it to him for his birthday, and on the same day, one of the pieces came off. No matter how hard we try to reattach it, it just keeps falling off. It's quite frustrating, especially considering the price. You might want to explore other models.

    This seems like a joke. Only half of the bars actually produce sound; the other half just result in a thud. The sticks are made of warped plastic.

    It arrived with some of the metal keys rattling around inside the instrument, having come off during transportation. The blue mallets are weak and very flexible, showing signs of stress in the plastic, as if there had been some tension applied to one of the mallets.

    The grommets underneath the individual xylophone note plates are weak, and there's minimal spacing between them.

    A great xylophone for a child learning music. I appreciate the color-coded keys, and it produces lovely musical tones. The instrument's range is just right, allowing for a full sound and enough notes to play more complex songs. It's a gift for my ten-year-old who's into music and starting to read notes. I even use the open case as a music stand. The case itself is of good quality and securely protects the instrument. Outstanding quality for the price!

    The item arrived defective. The case had scratches, and a note was missing a fastener. Edit: I found the missing fastener loose at the bottom of the case.

    My grandson's teacher has one of these at school, and his cousin has a simpler version. He was eager to have one, and he's learning to play it using the color-coded cards. He's thrilled that he can play a few songs. The price was reasonable, and it's well-built! He adores it! Thanks a lot!

    My grandson really wanted this, and he loves playing it. When I asked him why, he said, "I love the sound." We were watching DCI performances, and he's using both hands with the mallets. The only drawback is that the mallets could be better; they're plastic and curved. I plan to replace them.

    My 9-year-old asked for a xylophone for Christmas, and this one was perfect. It has bright colors, stores easily, and produces pleasant sounds. I do wish it came with some sheet music, though.

    Two of the bars were missing fasteners. A bit of shaking and they came loose from underneath. The included songbook is in an Eastern language, possibly Chinese, which renders it useless. Nevertheless, my grandson is quite fond of it. I suppose you get what you pay for.

    Perfect for the kids, although not so perfect for the parents' ears all day! Jokes aside, this is an excellent xylophone. My daughter absolutely loves it, and it's well-crafted. In fact, I'll be purchasing a blue one for my son since he enjoys it so much too. For reference, my daughter is 6, and my son is 8.

    It arrived broken. Some of the key notes were missing, so I don't understand why it includes sharps if it won't have the sharps commonly used in most simple songs. It's not worth your money.

    I purchased this for my granddaughter's fourth birthday, and it was a hit with all the kids and adults alike. The keys are labeled, and it comes with music cards for simple songs. I had a blast playing all the songs before wrapping it up. The fact that it comes in a carrying case is a plus.

    This was intended to be a Christmas present for my 7-year-old grandson. Unfortunately, the notes don't play correctly; they're out of tune. I'm very disappointed. I can't locate the original packing slip, so I can't return it. It's going in the trash.
