    Takes a bit of effort for someone who never played a wind instrument. Very warm tone, once found. After that: smooth sailing. Great way to experience the instrument without a huge investment.

    It plays very well. This is a great starting instrument for those who want to play reed instruments. It took me a few minutes to get the hang of it. That sounds really good. I play mini saxophone on the beach, camping and playing with my friends.

    I got sound out of it in the first 5 minutes. It sounds pretty good. I learned to blow a sax in grade school. After all these years well.. impressive. It will take awhile before a song is played on this instrument from me. I'm sure that someone who is more musically inclined and less impressed with just making a sound come out of it, will do much better with this instrument.

    Sounds like a sax alright. Inplay strings and keyboard but could never master a woodwind. Each day I walk buband try to consistently hold a tone. When I can I scale. Well worth it if you want to learn as long as my neighbors do not mind.

    I purchased this for my daughter for school and she still uses it for band. It’s been one year and she is taking band class again this summer and fall. Sound is great and you can’t tell the difference at all for the value. Great kit with all the accessories.
