Quick recap: This multifunction battery service unit is great. I pick it up mostly due to the battery tester and charging/trickle charger function. Work great as intended, I use it to test a known bad battery as well as a brand new one and it work as describe. Charging function is great for keeping battery maintain during the off-use season. Will have to give the repair function a try as well, can be a useful feature especially with battery sulfation. Overall Great unit with Unmatched versatility

This item is amazing, easy to use, at multi levels. I have not used the battery repair function yet, but I am sure it will be as easy as the charging and trickle features. A feature I especially like is the cooling internal fan, it keeps the charger cool when it is working for long periods. The testing functions are also very quick in determining what may be wrong with your battery, if you are having a problem. Size of unit is correct size, not too big, easy to handle. The grips on the terminal are strong and do not pop off the terminals, as my older charger did at times. I would purchase this item again. Charger was a quick charger faster than expected, great power!

I got the Konnwei 5 amp charger/analyzer due to features, price, and good reviews. The item I received did not work when it arrived - the analyzer functioned, but the charger did not. I contacted support, who responded within a day and asked me to shoot some videos of the malfunction. After I sent the videos, they shipped me a replacement charger -- I did not need to ask, they were proactive. The replacement charger/analyzer works fine. I am happy that the seller stands behind the product, and that they were interested in analyzing the problem, presumably to improve quality control. The features of the product are as described and it suit my needs well. Satisfied customer. I am ordering another of their products (OBD analyzer) due to this good support.

Simple to use for battery evaluation. Seems to evaluate battery condition accurately. It rated a one year old battery as "good", and a 6 year old battery as "charge and retest", but 80% capacity. It does cranking and charging tests, but I have no idea if the results are accurate. Charging is 5 amps. Not super fast, but adequate. Then there is the battery repair function... The instructions are very poor and inadequate - there are no instructions on how to use this function (other than "push the button"). I let it run on a poor battery for 12 hours, then 24 hours, and finally 36 hours, before I shut it off. I'm not sure what it does, or if ever stops running. Be very careful with the battery repair function.

I needed a battery tester, and a good quality charger while working on the charging system of my 1961 Ford Falcon with a 5.0L v8 swap. This unit ended up being perfect for my needs. The testing function is great, as you can remove the power cord and just clip the unit onto the battery to test. The battery will power the tester, so no external power source needed. It quickly determines battery condition. I had an older Optima in the car and wasn't sure if it was part of the problem, but the charger helped rule that out (likely an alternator issue). Plugging in the unit to wall power, and I can now chage the battery. The charging is automated and the display shows you all the charging data while running. I'm very impressed with this tester, highly recommended!
