Binding:
To ensure good signal strength, make sure the receiver antenna is as far away from any metal parts when installing the receiver.
1. Insert the binding cable into the receiver's BIND port.
2. Plug the power cable into any other port, and the receiver's LED will start to flash quickly indicating that it has entered bind mode.
3. Put the transmitter into bind mode; (See the transmitter's instruction manual for more information.)
4. Binding is successful when the receiver's LED starts to flash slowly. Remove the power and bind cables from the receiver *if the transmitter is bidirectional the reciever status indicator will not fash slowly.
5. Reconnect the power cable to the receiver.
6. Check to make sure that the transmitter and receiver are working as expected, if there are any issues or unexpected operation follow the steps above to bind again.

    Totally my fault. Totally my fault! The FGR4 has better range than the FGR4S in 1/8 trail and it doesn't miss a beat, even on the big tracks! I use the FGR4S mostly on indoor carpet tracks. Both are great reapers!

    Small compact size. Fits nicely in my Notorious 6s receiver box with lots of extra space left. Updated to latest firmware and working perfectly so far.

    These new receivers are a bit overpriced, but they are excellent. Great range, easy to configure and update. They are small in profile so they fit almost anywhere on the rig Overall, I would order again for any RC vehicle that needs more than 4 channels.

    I haven't tested it for "speed run" distance, but the signal has been rock solid in large parking lots with telemetry in both directions. It all works flawlessly.

    Please note that if you are thinking of using this receiver for speed runs, large scale applications, or long range driving, I would still opt for a receiver with an external antenna. I have not noticed any indoor interference or range loss issues outdoors up to ~ 500ft. I have not tested farther.

    Excellent compact receiver for the Noble NB4. Still has great range even though it has an integrated antenna. I run these in all of my classic RC buggies and am very happy with it. It does report signal and battery level back to the transmitter too.

    Great response and range, you can also use your Flying Noble NB4 to update the receiver to get a range of 50 meters or more You can also plug the sensor directly into the receiver.

    These are great recivers, the size and not having to deal with an antenna are wonderful. Range gets a bit spotty with large obstacles like hills.
