    I've used plastic trays before in the hospital beds but this one appeared to be more comfortable and it was!!!! It was perfect for my mother in her final weeks. I was able to continue doing her hair as I always did. This was the perfect item to actually place near the sink in the bathroom and bath her wheelchair too so she felt like she was at the beauty salon. Also fitting for the bed as I could control the flow of the water as I emptied it when finished. Thank you so much for making this product.

    This is excellent my paraplegic mother-in-law was laid up in bed with a large sore on her seat and not able to get up for a very very long time and she was admitted into the hospital and had to stay in the hospital for six months and then was transferred to an assisted living Medical Care Unit. Only one time did anyone ever offered to wash her hair with real water and soap I bought this so that I could wash it for and make her feel good about herself again because she was really down it made a world of difference to her to have clean hair!

    Great product. We were given one of these in hospital. It was a boon to our home care regime. The only trouble was the drain tube was kinda flimsy and would draw shut when draining, causing the basin stop draining. This was ordered as a replacement. THANK GOODNESS!! The drain tube is more substantial and remains open the entire time, even makes a sucking noise it drains so well. The bathing regime is that much easier for my daughter and granddaughter. Thanks for a quality product that actually does make things so much easier.

    Excellent ! You're never sure what you're going to get sometimes--but this item is an A+. Heavy duty vinyl all over. A small blow-up portion that supports the head. My caregiver uses three 64oz pitchers to wet, wash & rinse my fine, above-shoulder length hair - and the basin is not near full. It does come with a durable hose for drainage purposes. The hose may arrive very crimped in places--it helps to run HOT water thru it until it straightens (several minutes).

    the hose is really stiff and develops crimps when it's stored in a bag. I take it with me so that's why I don't leave it inflated. It still works, just flows a little slowly.If a person has really long hair it would be more difficult to use unless the person wants to (and if theyare able) to hold their head up.

    This product worked great for doing an apple cider vinegar soak on locks. My boyfriend was able to lay down while his locks soaked for 15 minutes. Far more comfortable than hovering over the sink.

    My wife was in an auto accident and unable to bath for several weeks due to the injuries. The basin was easy to setup/use (no spills in her hospital bed!). A small thing like a real shampoo really boosts quality of life. I recommend this product.

    Great way to wash your hair from your bed. I am handicap and this is the best way to wash your hair in bed and easy to use according to my caregiver.

    I have been using this for my family member for years now. It's comfortable and makes washing my family member's hair super easy. Make sure you have a large bucket on the floor for the drain while washing hair, sometimes the cap pops open. You wouldn't want water spilling over your floor. My only complaint is if you're not careful and try to lift the basin by the spot where the head is. You have the possibility of ripping the seal. I have used one basin for a year without it breaking, just by being careful when placing and removing it.

    The drain should be in another area. Its toward where the person shoulder is and should be toward the back. Because its under near the front. The hose would not drain well like a kink even though no kink. If toward the back maybe it would drain

    I bought this for my five year old who just had hip surgery and is in a hip spica cast for six weeks. It was very easy to inflate and to add the drainage tube. The water draining seemed a little slow but was hurried up by tilting the whole basin slightly. I was concerned that this might not work for a child but she found it comfortable and we had no leakage around her neck. I found this product to be exactly what I was hoping for and am very pleased with it!
