Got this thing and have taken it camping 2x and used it in my backyard twice in the last two weeks. It's AWESOME. If you've never used a rocket stove before. the thing to know is: pack it. Put the fast burning stuff at the bottom (paper/jute/moss) then leaves then twigs. Process down twigs so they fit upon the initial lighting. I usually drop a bunch in the top to get the fire going. then put the larger twigs and sticks in the front. If your stove is sending the flame through the bottom loading chamber. you probably need to increase airflow (main chamber may be full of coals blocking air). I just poke the heck out of the back of the chamber when I load larger sticks into it and it works great.

I love it however I don't think it will last forever I've used it three times now and the metal is starting to buckle a little but other than that I've removed the two little pieces on top because they just got to be in the way it's a lot better without them what I I would highly recommend it it's a great little stove ..... an up-to-date on my little rocket stove it has buckled a little put no damage and it still works like a champ I'm so impressed yes highly recommend this stove it's actually burning better than the one I paid a lot more money for.

It is a lightly built little piece but it does the job of providing sufficient heat in a hurry. Sufficient to heat water to boiling in minutes because of its ability to focus it's minimal heat up its narrow "chimney". Great idea!

Was amazed how fast this boiled water and how little fuel ( wood) I used. Faster than all other pocket stoves I own. Even jetboil

Very simple to assemble and light to carry. You have to keep the fire feeding with small branches or wood which entertains you. Naturally it is for personal use to heat soup. hot dogs. coffee or to reheat some food. Greetings from the mountains of Puerto Rico.

The rocket stove is well built and simple to assemble. it was a suitable for my intended use. It is quick. contained. and pretty much windproof. It will hold cups. cooking pans. cast iron and you can still put a hotdog or marshmallow on a stick cook that way. Very nice stove easy to put together. Good quality. Nice size for up to 5 people to cook on.

I use it for cooking table top food. I usually fire it up with different flavors of wood pellets. Just so you know be careful even with wood pellets it gets very hot. 700 degrees or so!

Works great for what it is. My only suggestion is. since the logo is laser etch on. laser etch some instructions or survival knowledge on it. That will add much more value to this compact little stove.
