I bought this to replace a stock Specialized seat on a twenty year old hard tail I've converted into a go-anywhere bike. With a pandemic raging, it's more of a road bike than anything else, and after a few rides, I'm happy to say that it's comfortable and seems well made. It's only got a few hundred miles on it at this point, but I will update my review if it doesn't stand the test of time. I'm a fit 185lbs and I don't feel like I'm in jeopardy of destroying this seat so far. It's not a negative, but I have noticed that certain shorts seem to catch on it when riding around town - just not the smooth vinyl from the stock seat. Very happy with the seat.

I am new to bicycling. haven rarely ridden a bicycle since I was a child. But recently I decided to give it a try for exercise. My bicycle came with a very small seat and friends advised me to look for a more comfortable one. which led me to this one. I will say that my butt has still been sore so I have also purchased padded bicycle shorts. which also helped. So. I don't have other seats to compare this one to. I would say don't expect miracles. It helps. but if you are new like me there will still be some discomfort as you become used to riding a bike. I will say I ride for an hour. If you are only riding shorter times you might not experience discomfort. Also. to make the seat fit my bike I had to remove a bracket from my old seat and install it on the new seat. Not a problem. but when I looked at it at first I didn't think it would fit

That Memory Foam cushion is amazingly soft. It's made of a high quality material. high density. and it makes the whole riding experience a tad more comfortable. Had a good seat before. but treated myself to an upgrade. comfortable. reducing stress. better protect the buttocks when you are riding! add an attractive Neon Green design I chose for myself. and you have a WINNER !!!!! Very comfortable seat. Longest ride on this was 30 miles and the memory foam did it's job. As others have noted. the material can grip the Lycra of cycling shorts a bit too much but that's also a good thing when you find that right' position. It helps keep you right there. Takes some getting used to. Either way. it does a good job keeping those sensitive bits feeling good the entire ride. Definitely worth the price.
