I love that these make our paddle boards more versatile. My only suggestion is that they should be designed to attach to boards that do not have pre-installed rings for the seat to clip onto at the four corners. I'm pretty creative and can find ways around these obstacles, but I would prefer if the company could address this issue for me.

At first glance, the seats seemed flimsy and as if they wouldn't provide good support. They do require some adjustment during installation, but once you find the right spot, they're perfect. My husband and I used them for a 6-hour kayak trip and our backs felt much better than with the standard seats. I would definitely purchase these again!

Although it doesn't say it will work for a sit in kayak it does. My sit in Kayak would really bother my lower back after a hour or so that's when I decided to replace with this. I did have to add 2 small eyelets to the top of my kayak to attach hooks to, also put a screw in the bottom so it would not move around. What a difference - very comfortable no more back issues. Don't be afraid to use this for any type of kayak.

I purchased these for when we take our grandchildren out. It's nice for them to have their own seat so they aren't sitting in our laps. It's really challenging to paddle with someone in your lap. I love that we can adjust the seats to recline when the kids fall asleep or adjust to provide more support as needed. I wish they had velcro on the bottom like the seats that came with my kayak, but I can add that myself. They are comfortable and provide great support for our backs. We are in our 50s, so we're not as strong as we used to be.

I have an Field and Stream Eagle Run 12ft sit in. The seat that comes with it is not too great but but this seat worked out great. I put this thing to work on an 8 day kayaking trip and it held up. Takes a second to get the straps adjusted to your comfort. I recommend trying on the ground first. I accidentally messed with the straps and tried adjusting while I was on the water and it didn't work too well. It's 100x more comfortable than my original seat. If I get another kayak. I'll likely buy this seat again.

I am so thankful I got this! I was a bit worried because many reviews said it isn't cushioned well enough. But I found it to be wonderful (although I do have added cushion of my own). The first time out did take adjusting and readjusting. but it was so easy to adjust on the fly that it didn't bother me. Once I found the adjustment I liked. the support was great! Now. yes. it does slide around a bit until you have it properly adjusted. then it stayed put fine for me. We rowed about 4 hours the first time out and about 3 the next time out and so far I am in love with this!

These are impressively sturdy and comfortable. I was somewhat expecting them to be flimsy, but they turned out to be very nice and of high quality. They're also super easy to set up. It comes with hooks to attach the backrest and some hooks to prevent the bottom from sliding around. The small pack on the back of the seat proved to be very handy as well.

I purchased these for my sister who has undergone two serious neck surgeries. She loves kayaking, but it used to result in terrible pain afterwards due to the added stress on her neck. These chairs provide her with the exact support she needed, and she no longer suffers from pain after enjoying a day out on the river.

I am a single mom who loves to kayak with my kiddo but getting a tandem kayak on and off my roof rack of my suv just wasn't realistic by myself. or appealing. I bought a one person Pelican kayak to keep it light and then modified the back with anchors to attach this seat for my daughter on the back. It has great support and my 5 year old was comfortable for the three hours we were out on the ocean last weekend. the backrest sits high so its a lot more comfortable for her.

I have a Field & Stream Eagle Talon 12 and the seat it comes with is very uncomfortable. The backrest on this seat is awesome! Today was the first day using my kayak with this seat. My back felt great after a few hours of fishing. I love the high backrest it has. Very easy and simple to install as well. For the money. I couldn't beat it. A friend of mine sent me the link to this because he loves his as well.
