    Although I had a defective part on my initial purchase the company shipped me a new replacement immediately upon notification. Seems to be a quality reel. very smooth action. Probably will buy again.

    After running these reels hard for the last couple weeks I can tell you do not purchase this reel if you ever plan to cast it! Now however if you are strictly trolling or long lining you will not find a better reel for your money! Smooth drag tons of power and plenty of line Capacity!

    This reel has done a fantastic job for me. The power handle knob is nice and large which makes the cranking comfortable. The retrieval and star drag work real well.

    The reel itself seems to be built ok but definitely not sealed for saltwater use. however, my main grip is the handle. it is cheap and the knob that you hold is so small and flexes then you reel in something a little heavy.

    I bought this to throw on a small cheap eagle claw 3wt fly rod to just have a beater rod to keep in my truck. Over all I highly recommend this as a budget reel. I am an elitist prick with most stuff and wouldn' t shy away from this at all.

    Perfect for winding up small diameter antenna wire. You can get about 60-70feet of 26 AWG PTFE on there.

    I ordered the 1/2 size reel. I cut a 35 foot chunk of the fly line off to create the needed clearance. The drag is smooth, the reel appears to be decently well made, and I like the small size.

    This reel works as expected. I don' t use the reel while fighting fish (I just pull the line as needed with my weak hand). Good value for the price.
