Handles my 14’ touring kayak with no problems. Ample amount of strap provided to secure one’s kayak/canoe to the chassis. There are YouTube videos available on correctly securing the kayak/canoe to the cart. Watch them. Will make one’s life easier! My longest haul with this was 800m on a bumpy path with all my paddling gear and day pack inside, and the kayak never slipped off once. It’s a little too large to store in the kayak but I took off the wheels, stored them inside my rear hatch, and secured the light aluminium from to the top with a bungee. Job done. Good price, and it works.

Our house at the beach is a couple blocks from an inlet that leads out to the bay. I don’t have a roof rack for my sub and I don’t have a truck so I have to carry it down to the canal. This is the perfect solution for me. I strapped it to my kayak and pulled it right down to the water. It worked perfectly. Even though my kayak isn’t that heavy it’s very awkward trying to carry it that far when you’re 68 years old. The only thing I did differently was I did not use the straps that came with it i used two bungee cords. You can see in my pictures and I just strap the bungee cords onto the carrier and around the top and I was done. Just two bungee cords kept it from coming off. And it’s a bumpy walk once I get down to the wooden ramp. I highly recommend this cart.

Fabulous and a game changer. We are vacationing at a home that is about 300 feet down a boardwalk to the bay. Carrying two kayaks down wouldn’t have taken two people and would have been doable but annoying and tiring. With this cart I’m able to carry both kayaks by myself (one at a time) and all the essentials very easily. Without it I’m not sure how often we would have kayaked but with it we don’t even question whether the hike down with them is worth it. It folds down and the wheels are very easy to remove and attach which is great for travel.

Awesome tool for moving my 10' dinghy, which is probably only 100 pounds or so but too big for one person to move it alone. Now I can move it around easily without having to bother friends to help. The instructions that come with it could be clearer, in particular it says to attach the strap to the dolly, but doesn't say/show where/how - I just threaded it through the loops on the straps that hold the front/rear supports and so far it is fine

I looked at a variety of kayak carts - all very much more expensive than this one so I was a bit concerned when I placed my order. I shouldn't have been worried. Great construction, straightforward to use and fits my kayak perfectly. Assembly instructions were clear - although not really needed. Only thing I would have liked would have been instructions on how to actually strap the kayak onto the cart.
