I’m new to fishing, and this is an amazing product, my first fish was a 35lb, 3 foot red drum fish in Pensacola fl. The rod bent at nearly 90 degrees, the fish put up a real fight, and the rod took it like a champ. I really didn’t think this was a good buy, until I saw it in action. This rod can really bend,The quality is amazing for the price. It's also super compact, it can fit it a bookbag or even just a little plastic shopping bag.

This rod is very convenient. It collapses to under 2 feet long, making storage super easy. Extended it's about 6 feet tall and gets even longer when you extend the handle. It also comes with a cloth sleeve to store your rod in. The reel is very nice. The design is pleasing to the eyes and is very smooth. It's clearly marked to tell you how much line it can hold depending on the diameter of your line. Definitely something I can keep in my Jeep for the last minute fishing trips.

I own a lot of high end gear. All one piece rods and fancy reels. I wanted something low cost. compact and light weight so being this was so inexpensive . Wow just seeing this out of the box. i was so impressed. Compared to my $500 set ups. this is really up there as far as quality just first impressions of seeing and handling it. I can throw this in a back pack and be able to hike in difficult places now where i couldn't before holding my rods. I could actually put 3 of these in a back pack along with my tackle. I have yet to fish with this set up. but based on the first hands on appeal. I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do. you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I've added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.
