    I previously owned an older version that performed surprisingly well. I even confirmed its accuracy using underwater cameras while ice fishing. However, I decided to upgrade to the new model with improved display and additional features. One thing I really appreciate about this new version is that it's rechargeable, unlike the older model that consumed batteries quickly.

    You simply can't go wrong with this finder given its incredible value and accurate display of depth and fish size. After my Hook 2 Lowrance failed me within six months, I decided to try this option, and it hasn't disappointed. It's lightweight, straightforward to use, and an absolute plug-and-play marvel.

    The quality of this fish finder pleasantly surprised me. Although I initially purchased it as an entry-level option for ice fishing, it far exceeded my expectations. In fact, its performance rivals that of other finders that are nearly twice the price!

    This fish finder and depth meter is an excellent companion for kayaking. I couldn't be happier with it. The display is fantastic, offering excellent readability. I simply attach the transponder to my cleat and allow it to float alongside me. It has proven to be immensely useful in identifying both the structure and size of fish.

    I've recently put this fish finder to the test on a rental skiff off the coast of Santa Cruz CA, and it delivered excellent results, enabling me to catch a lovely 30-inch lingcod. Though it can be a tad challenging to use because of its handheld design, my only suggestion is to create a rod mount for the receiver unit.

    It's a compact and handy fish finder. However, during ice fishing in North Dakota where temperatures often dip below zero, the fish finder's battery drains rapidly. I have to carry multiple battery packs to ensure continuous operation. It's not designed for harsh North Dakota winters.

    The product performs adequately. It operates optimally in water depths of 40 ft or less. However, in depths exceeding 40 ft, it tends to encounter significant interference, making it difficult to differentiate between fish and other signals.
