I use range finders for target shooting. One of the very first things that impressed me about this unit was the usb-micro rechargeable batteries. Out of the box there was sufficient charge for my first outing. Setting up a target at 120 yards, the rangefinder was accurate. The two buttons on top allow you to switch between modes or execute a reading. I only planned on using the distance and perhaps angle readings, but there are more features yet to grow into. I wasn’t expecting magnification, but this rangefinder magnifies as effectively as my 10x binoculars, big bonus not having to bring those along. I did have to steady my arms on my pickup in order to get a confident read on my 8x12 inch target that far out, then I realized there was a continuous reading mode that didn’t require me to laze the target perfectly. Overall, if you’re worried about how some rangefinders can seem too affordable to be any good, this proves that you don’t need to spend hundreds to get quality results.

I just purchased this rangefinder a couple of days ago, so I cannot say anything about its longevity or ruggedness, but I was so impressed with the overall dollar/quality that I am willing to stick my neck out for it. I can easily read stable ranging at 640 meters and probably longer. I did try to measure the range to Apple Park from my house viewing Silicon Valley, but it failed to measure it; can't do three miles ;) Like most rangefinders, this one also suffers from image vibrations, easy to condone knowing that image-stabilized rangefinders are at least six times more expensive.

For me, I got it on a whim as something I'll occasionally use playing disc golf. The Bushnell one is a little pricey to take a chance on, so I got this for less than half the cost. Overall I'm pleased. I've compared readings to a friend's Bushnell and they were very close. The only feature I wish this had was a display in feet; it only displays in meters or yards. And maybe something to compensate for shaky hands, as it's hard to get it exactly on the basket when you're a couple hundred feet out.

There is nothing that I don’t like about this range finder, it’s easy to use and very accurate on the range on the yards. Very clear and comfortable to use and a lot better then the Walmart brands I have bought that don’t last very long. So far I’m very impressed and would definitely buy again can’t wait to use it during bow hunting this year. Also like the pouch it comes in that can be hooked to your belt or bag for easy access. The one thing that sets this apart from others I have bought is this one has a rechargeable battery built in it which makes it more convenient to use for the fact I don’t have to go out and buy batteries or carry batteries for it I can simply charge it before I go hunting and have it ready to use.

This range finder is easy to use. The mode button is on top and can be used to switch between features quickly. It is compact and fits comfortably in my hand. Thus far I've only used it to guage the yardage while shooting my bow on a 3-D target range. The measurements it showed were accurate. The eye piece is adjustable to help those if us who normally wear glasses to read the display without needing them. This is awesome as I don't wear glasses for long range or to shoot. I have not had the opportunity to use the fog mode yet, but am hopeful that it will help during foggy morning hunts. I've not owned another range finder, nor have I used any recently aside from this one, so I don't really have another with which to compare it. Regardless, I'm happy with my purchase as it functions as described.

I was not expecting it to be so compact. This makes it really easy to carry and bring along. I measured the tree in my picture to within .2ft so it’s very accurate. Also the optics are very clear given this price point. Great little unit that gets it done, I am very happy so far. Came with the charging cable (micro usb) and a nice carrying pouch. I never use lanyards, but there’s a mounting hole on the unit and it came with the strap if you want to use it.

Love it accurate also there’s it at the local range at fixed range targets and was within a yard every time took it on multiple hunting trips also this year and it gives a pretty clear picture functions are easy to use and it’s nice and compact the carabiner on the case was kind of useless but I just stuck mine in my hunting bag anyways

This is a well designed easy to use rangefinder. It is very compact and fits easily in a pocket. The only thing I don’t care for is that it uses a non-standard size battery, but I can live with that. I would recommend it for general hunting use.

Worked as expected, I had an issue with accuracy though. Before using it, I highly suggest calibrating. I calibrated mine at 25 Meters using a tape measure, I noticed that I have a -1.5 Meter.

My friend who spent more on a name brand rangefinder prefers mine over his. It not only detects the flag from further distances, but the slope yardage adjustment is awesome. When comparing yardages ranging anywhere from 15 yds to 300+ yds, this cheap thing was always nearly exactly the same yardage as my friends expensive name brand one.

I have used this to range out to 600 meters and matched it with my friends Nikon Coolshot Pro. The most we varied was 2 yards. It has been dropped multiple times and works like a charm. If you aren’t ranging ultra long distance shots this is a very good option.

Good for the price. When using for golf, it's not the best at picking up the flag distance and you will have to shoot the pin multiple times to get a distance.

I used it today during a round of golf...let me tell you, I was playing a pretty hilly course and my measurements were much more accurate than my partner whom was using a “brand name” rangefinder. His does not have the slope + angle compensated reading causing to be short on green approach shots ( my advantage). Viewfinder very clear and very easy to operate. Superior performance and unbeatable price!!

My loving wife surprised me with this rangefinder for Valentine’s Day. Well, she was actually more surprised since I told her she got it for me.But what a thoughtful, considerate gift!

Lost my Tec Tec Tec viewfinder which worked great. Read the reviews and decided to save some cash. Glad I did. It works great, the slope feature works well. Clear vision, easy to read display. I like that it is smaller in size. Fits easy in my golf bag. Accurate and matched other rangefinders.

I was in search of an affordable range finder for golf, and this one came highly recommended. It has three basic features: Scan, Golf, and Speed. I know I'll never use the Speed feature, so essentially, it has two useful features. Pros: It's affordable, lightweight, accurate, very user-friendly, and comes with a nice carry case. For my first range finder, it's worth noting that slope measurements are not allowed in official golf tournaments. However, you could use the Scan feature, which doesn't include any slope measurements, if you wanted to use this device in a tournament. The downside is that you can't lock in a reading on a target. You can still determine the distance to the flag by scanning back and forth over it. Tip: Consider buying an affordable, collapsible camera mono-pod to stabilize the unit. You can store it in your golf bag with your clubs, ensuring you never forget or misplace the unit.

was leery because of it's price point, but it performs exactly as advertised, comes with easy to understand directions and seems like it should last, especially because of the quality of its carry case. I'd still also been using my standard GPS to check this unit's accuracy, but after 5 rounds I know I no longer need to do that. I especially like the "Slope" feature, I've seen the difference between distance and calculated distance be as much as 18 yards, which for me can be as much as a club and a half.......it's nice not coming up 25 or 30 feet short or long on a shot into a green just because I had the wrong club in my hand. Buy it!
